What started as a silly idea on trip to Galaxy's Edge last summer kinda snowballed into Galactic Decoder. I had been playing around with doing some object detection in iOS at the time, and though it would be sweet if I had an app to help me translate all of the Aurebesh around Batuu. I started building some little toy apps, had some success, and things kinda got out of hand.
Point your camera at these writings, and see them decoded into the High Galactic alphabet. (Also known as the latin characters you likely know and love.) You'll be able to scan using live video, or load a photo from your camera roll. You'll also be able to capture photos of your scans and save them to your photos library to admire later.
For those times where a manual touch is needed, or you just want to practice typing in Aurebesh, you can use the manual Decoder. Type in either alphabet, and see your message appear as you type.
